Every Rugged Rush participant takes on a 7KM race circuit featuring 14 obstacles designed to test strength, endurance, agility and grit. 10 are revealed below. The remaining 4 stay secret until race day.

At Rugged Rush, not every obstacle is announced beforehand. Four race-day obstacles remain a surprise to test adaptability, courage and problem-solving under pressure. Because the best challenges are the ones you never see coming.

TRAIN FOR WHAT
YOU KNOW.

Four pillars to get race-ready. Build all of them and you'll handle whatever race day throws at you.

RUN
Build endurance for the 7KM course. Mix steady-state runs with interval training to prepare for varied terrain.
STRENGTH
Train for climbing, carrying and lifting. Pull-ups, deadlifts and farmer carries will serve you well.
GRIP
Your hands will thank you later. Dead hangs, towel pull-ups and farmer walks build the grip you need.
MINDSET
Not every obstacle can be conquered with strength alone. Mental toughness separates finishers from quitters.
